Journeys into the Wilderness
Journey with us to places in the African wilderness where we immerse ourselves in this living wonderland. Our direct encounters with the places, animals, birds, trees and plants, enable us to see and be seen, to be felt and in turn feel. In the African wilderness we encounter the consciousness that is within us and all around us. Within this field of awareness we enter into a sacred resonance with all life, and awaken to our own Divine Presence.
We travel each year to these special places in the African Wilderness and you are invited to join our intimate group, or create your own group to journey with us for a deeply immersive encounter within the ancient realm of the African wilderness. We are not “tour-operators” with set itineraries, rather we are led by what is calling to us either from our own inspiration, or from a calling from others.
Botswana
This large country with its sparse population and vast wilderness offers us the ideal opportunity to encounter the African Wilderness as a life altering journey of wonderment. We travel to different parts of Botswana each year. Every itinerary is carefully considered dependent on the seasons, the group and the availability of the areas that call to us. This is a tailor made mobile safari experience in which we set up camps completely surrounded by wild Africa in secluded wilderness areas. These journeys offer an unparalleled communion with the African Wilderess. Our groups are run with a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 10 people.
Zimbabwe
Our journeys here take us to Gonarehzu National Park which is an exquisite wilderness. A place of healing, both for the land and for ourselves. This is a remote yet accessible landscape. Mozambique
The dolphin encounters in Ponta de Auro draw us each year where we immerse ourselves in the warm Indian Ocean waters for a magical dance with these wild and free beings. Our itinerary is a four day retreat with three ocean excursions. We stay together in a retreat center , where we combine our ocean based communions with art, journaling and meditation as we deepen our connection to ourselves, the ocean and her sacred creatures.
South Africa
From the southern end of the African continent where the Fynbos plant populations are unequalled to the arid Karoo with its 180 degree starscapes, to the mountains of the Dragon and the Lowveld bush-veld the opportunities to encounter the African wilderness abound.
Zambia
This is a new area of exploration for us and we are drawn to explore these remarkable wilderness areas which are less well known, yet are spectacular and resonate powerfully for us. A unique opportunity to explore with us in this rich and wild land.
Namibia
